Inclusive Worship Aids

Written by Bridget Mary Meehan, Judy Lee and Dorothy Shugrue, this compact disk, Inclusive Worship Aids, is a resource created by priests in the Association of Roman Catholic Women Priests containing a variety of Eucharistic liturgies. Some will be ideally suited for Advent/Lent, Easter/Pentecost, and Ordinary Time, while other celebrations like the liturgy of the Poor, the Marian liturgy, and the Women’s Empowerment liturgy can be used for anytime. These Inclusive Worship Aids are now available for free downloading (.docx format) via the links provided below. It is our hope that this resource will be a blessing for all inclusive communities who worship in spirit and truth.

The prayers and rituals can easily be adapted to the specific needs of any group. You have our permission to fit our resource to your needs. It is our hope that other pilgrims will experience the blazing fire of the Spirit's outpouring as they enter into the celebration of new life. We truly believe that in God and in Christ we live and move and have our being.

As we take our place around the banquet table of Christ’s love, we invite all to the tent and pray that all may be one. The moment has arrived and the celebration has begun!

"The liturgies look just beautiful. I will use them in the women's jail, because every week I talk to them about God being mother, the feminine images, and all the need for inclusive language. They love it so they will be so happy with these prayers. I also go to Tanzania every summer to teach our young Tanzanian sisters on topics they request, and this will be wonderful to share … Thanks for your inspiring prayers!" R.S.

Worship Aids are also still provided on a CD in both Word .doc and .pdf formats. If you are able, a suggested donation of $25.00 will defray our cost and help to support the growth of ARCWP and our ministry.

The Life of the Spirit in the Convergent Points of Dreams, Spirituality and Psychology
by Dr. Eleonora V. Marinaro

Dr. Marinaro's work in psychology and in spirituality shows her how both subjects interface in the human psyche. Each discipline provides a method and a path for healing, wholeness and transformation. Her working model and theories are based on her own dream experiences and those of her private clients and dream groups. Her research reveals that dreams can describe and contribute to understanding the growth and healing process.

Influenced by her study of Carl Jung, Dr. Marinaro says: “For Jung, it was not about religion, but about a personal spirituality and relationship with God. Jung saw dreams as the vehicle for spiritual experience and transformation.” Much like Dr. Marinaro herself does.
